Precimax Trapezoidal Sieves

Less Friction. Better Flow. Cleaner Processing.

Precimax Trapezoidal Sieves are engineered with precision-formed apertures that reduce material-to-screen contact, allowing products to flow more efficiently through the sieve. The optimized geometry minimizes friction, reduces material accumulation, enhances airflow, and helps maintain cleaner processing conditions throughout the grinding operation.

Why the Taper Reduces Friction

A straight-walled round hole holds a particle in full sidewall contact along the entire thickness of the sheet. The trapezoidal aperture is punched with a wider exit face than entry face — so once a particle clears the narrow entry point, sidewall contact drops off immediately, reducing drag and the chance of a particle wedging and blocking the hole.

Less wall contact per particle means lower resistance to flow, less material buildup around each aperture, and a screen that stays cleaner for longer between manual cleaning cycles.

How It's Made

Base Fabrication to Fabricated Ring

Raw sieve material is fabricated exactly to client specification. Conical or square hole strips are cut and finished to your machine's width, length and perforation requirements, then curved and seam-fabricated to match the exact curvature of your machine casing.

In short: your 0.6mm–6.0mm hole-size control, plus your specified width and length, equals a machine-ready fabricated ring — no on-site trimming or adaptation needed.

Standard Fabricated Ring Sizes

940mm x 520mm 590mm x 580mm

Custom widths and diameters are fabricated to order for any machine make or model — share your machine's casing dimensions for an exact-fit quote.

Screen Manufacturing Workflow

Six Stages From Enquiry to Dispatch

Whether it's a single replacement ring or a bulk production order, every hammer mill screen and pulverizer screen from Precimax Engineers follows the same disciplined workflow.

Step 01

Design Review

Your machine's casing width, diameter, hole-size requirement or a worn screen sample is reviewed to confirm exact-fit feasibility.

Step 02

Tool Design

Piercing tooling and forming fixtures for the aperture pattern — trapezoidal, conical or straight-hole — are designed in-house for the target mill model.

Step 03

Material Selection

Stainless steel or mild steel sheet is selected to suit the application — dry spice grinding, wet processing, or humid/coastal operating conditions.

Step 04

Manufacturing

Precision piercing/perforation followed by rolling and fabrication into strips or rings sized to your mill's casing and hole specification.

Step 05

Quality Inspection

Hole size, pitch and ring/strip dimensions checked against your machine specification before packing.

Step 06

Dispatch

Packed for safe transit and shipped — as a single replacement screen or as a scheduled recurring supply.

Export Capabilities

Hammer Mill Screens Shipped to Food & Spice Processors Worldwide

Stainless steel hammer mill screens, pulverizer screens and food processing screens from Precimax Engineers are exported to spice, masala and food-processing operations across the USA, Europe, UK, Canada, Australia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Screens are packed flat or rolled to prevent distortion in transit, with export documentation prepared ahead of dispatch.

Because these are a recurring wear item, many export buyers set up a standing or blanket order — talk to us about your change-out interval and destination for a supply schedule.

Screen-Specific Questions

Common Questions on Hammer Mill Screens

What's the minimum order for a screen or ring?

We accept single-ring and low-volume replacement orders as well as bulk/production quantities — share your machine model and quantity for a quote.

Can we set up a recurring order for replacement screens?

Yes. Since screens are a wear item, many buyers set up a standing or blanket order for periodic replacement — talk to us about your expected change-out interval and we'll structure a supply schedule.

Is an anti-corrosion or coastal-climate option available?

Material and finish can be specified to suit your operating environment, including humid or coastal conditions — confirm your destination and conditions at enquiry stage.

What's the lead time for a hammer mill screen specifically?

Lead time depends on hole size, form factor (strip vs. fabricated ring) and quantity. Standard sizes ship faster than fully custom fabrications — we'll confirm an exact date at quotation.

Can you match a screen to our specific mill brand or model?

Yes — share your machine's casing width, diameter and hole-size requirement (or the worn screen itself) and we'll fabricate an exact-fit replacement.

Need a Hammer Mill Screen Sized to Your Machine?

Tell us your pulveriser model, required mesh size and aperture type — we'll quote and supply.
