Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked by Overseas Buyers

What's the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

It depends on part complexity and tooling cost. We accept low-volume and prototype orders, and will advise the minimum economical quantity at the quotation stage.

Do you charge for samples?

First-off samples are chargeable at cost. That sample cost is typically credited back against the first production order.

Who owns the tooling once it's built?

Tooling built for a specific buyer's part is billed separately and owned by the buyer, though it stays housed and maintained at our facility for the life of the program unless dispatch is requested.

Can you reverse-engineer an existing part or worn tool?

Yes — reverse engineering from a physical sample or a worn tool is one of our core capabilities, refined over 40-plus years in the tool room.

What documents can you provide with a shipment?

A dimensional inspection report, Certificate of Conformance and Material Test Certificate as standard. Third-party inspection (SGS, Intertek, TÜV) can be arranged at the buyer's cost on request.

What do you need from us to issue a quotation?

A 2D/3D drawing or physical sample, material and finish specification, annual or order volume, target tolerance, and your destination port or country.

Will our drawing or design stay confidential?

Yes. Drawings shared for quotation are used solely for feasibility review and are not disclosed to third parties. An NDA can be signed on request before detailed drawings are shared.
